Caitlin Clark Unanimous Preseason All-America Selection

For the second consecutive season, Caitlin Clark of Iowa was a unanimous selection to the Associated Press Preseason Women’s Basketball All-America Team.


Joining the star guard on the list are LSU’s Angel Reese, Virginia Tech’s Elizabeth Keatley, Stanford’s Cameron Brinker, Connecticut’s Paige Bukes and Indiana’s Mackenzie Holmes.


Clark is the first player in Iowa history to be named to the preseason All-America team three times. She is also 810 points behind the NCAA record of 3,527 held by Kelsey Plum.

Reese is the first player in LSU history to be named to the preseason all-conference team twice. She led the Tigers to their first-ever national championship in 2023.


Booker is healthy for the first time in two seasons. She missed all of last year with a torn ACL in her left knee.


Holmes is the first preseason All-American in Indiana history. She helped Indiana put together one of the best seasons in school history in 2023.


Keatley was named to the preseason All-America team for the second straight year. in 2023, she helped Virginia Tech reach the Final Four for the first time in school history.


Brinker averaged 15.1 points, 9.6 rebounds and 3.5 caps per game at Stanford last season. She is one of only two players remaining from the 2021 Stanford championship team.
